Capture your building’s signature style with Jansen Access Floor’s high-end floor finishes and coverings. Maintain the sustainability, high-performance, and long-term return on investment associated with a flexible raised access floor.
We have invested in manufacturing processes and expertise which enables us to apply factory-bonded, high-end surface finishes to our raised access floor panels.
Applying the surface finish at the point of manufacture ensures a consistent high quality end result and a simplified on-site installation process. Factory bonded finishes provide optimum flexibility of the raised access floor system and retain the highest accessibility to the underfloor void.
The choice of surface finish is almost infinite, including Linoleum, PVC, hard laminate, carpet, needle-punch carpet, rubber or stone. Please ask about other
bonded coverings specifically for your project. Colour, thicknesses and finish type can all be requested in order to give your project a unique finishing touch. Get in touch to find out more.
Raised access floor panels that are finished with a top surface of aluminium foil, steel sheet or melamine can have a loose lay surface finish applied.
Once the access flooring panels have been laid a light coat of pick-up glue is applied to the raised flooring panels before the loose 500 x 500 mm tiles are placed according to a placement scheme. The coating is glued with a gap from the joints of the raised flooring. Thanks to this gluing system, the coating can be easily removed and put back into place at anytime.
A loose-lay coating such as carpet or PVC makes the system access floor system less flexible than those with factory bonded finishes. However, the covering can be replaced when it’s worn out or dirty without having to replace all the floor tiles.
